hi,
i just bought the m-audio mobilepre usb and I got live lite 4.04 with it. I bought it to make demos of songs for my band, and to write music with it. I made a drumbeat in fruity loops, and saved it as an mp3. I then dragged the mp3 into one of the audio rows in live lite. I want to record a guitar track over the drums, but when I go through the recording process, the playback is delayed like half a second. I think this is the latency from what I have been reading. Is there anyway to make this go away, or maybe a way to move the track over a little to line them up?

Yes, there is a way to sort that problem - you just need to go into the clip view - double click on the audio you have recorded, and the clip view will come up. . you can see the time in beats and bars above the audio recording - the first number will be highlighted - this is the first beat (1.0.0) if you click and drag this number into alignment with the first beat of the drumtrack (you may need to pluck a note on the first beat of the guitartrack whilst recording as a means of marking the first beat in the resulting recording), you will have synced the audio with the drum track... you can do this while playing the song, as with all the features in Live... If you need to sync up any other parts of the audio, you can double-click another time-marker and drag it to the desired position...
