Built in 3 band EQ per track & Proper Volume adjustment

It sure would be nice have a 3 band EQ on each track like a real mixing board has. Instead of running a bunch of the 3/4 band eq plugins.. For small adjustments of course..
Also, why cant i get precise volume increase and decrease? Every other program lowers/raises the volume by ".1" But in Ableton is like a crap shoot on what you'll get. If you do it with the arrows keys you seem to get much better results but it goes by ".3's" and ".4's" and way low in volume it starts to go by ".10's" and ive even noticed that if you go up and then back down over and over you can start to decrease/increase the volume by one .. but ... it doesn't seem right..
Oh yeah and Scollwheel zoom in arrangement view!!! PLEASE!!! I Cant believe this has been overlooked for soo long!

YES, scrollwheel should work EVERYWHERE, zooming, holding the mouse over a fader or dial should make it hottrack and turn them up/down, if anyone has, or has tried iZotope vsts they all let you do this, and it is just soooo sweet to work with, mouse over, scroll, so fast and efficient.

I like the current implementation where you can add the type of EQ you want to each channel, rather than 'built in'.
But, I'd like it if the existing EQs (3 & 4) when dragged into a track appeared in the channel strip rather than the 'instrument' section. For mixing I sometimes need to see all the EQ dials , just as much as the volumes. This idea would require the channel strips to become 'tear off', which IMO would be a benefit to other functionality.
perhaps the 'extended' or 'advanced' parameters should still be shown in the 'track view'
It would be nice if in future we had new EQ modules to slap in, EG: 'vintage' or simple things like a steep 'hi shelf'.
yes

in another TOPIC i suggested an 8 Band Graphic LFO EQ.
i wouldn't mind having a simple 3 Band EQ in the track strips as long as it could be hidden/shown with a hot button. Hi Shelf and Lo Shelf toggles, but fixed freq's and Q just to keep it really sleek and to the point --- oh, and ON/OFF button to conserve resources
and definitely Maximize scrollwheel possibilities (mouseover to make adjustments would make things move a lot quicker - terrific suggestion)--- i just got one and being able to scroll left/right across a lot of tracks in the Session View has been wonderful -- i can't believe i got along without this before
i also agree on the VOLUME control - it needs work.. and at least some sorta DB meter implementation -- c'mon Abes! i hate working in the Arrange window on volume envelopes and not being able to move a point to 0.0 DB!!! that's just plain weird

yes man. i just posted about this in the bugs section, but the wierd volume breakpoint settings really bug me on a daily basis. it's the same with any automation breakpoints, you always need to fine-tune to get them to zero... why?
