Can't hear the demo

I've installed the demo version of Live from Computer Music Magazine but can't hear any sound when playing the demo song. The installation finished fine and I've tried making adjustments in preferences without success. There were no troubleshooting notes with the demo

Also curious, can Live run with Cubasis as it does with Cubase?

I'm running a Dell 333Mh PII, Win 98 SE, 128 MB mem, SoundBlaster AWE64, Voodoo 3500, Maxtor 30 GB 7200prm HD,
Other software that runs fine Acid Music, Cubasis, Computer Musys, Magix Music Studio, plus various demos like Fruity Loops. :(

Hi creative1,

which demo version of Live is that?. Select [About] from the [Help] menu in Live to see the version number.

Which demo song you have loaded? If it's something like "DemoSession" you have to fire a clip to hear something. If it's the "Demo Arrangement" you should hear something by just playing.

Or do you "see" the sound in the level meter of any track or the master but can't hear anything?

As far I know Cubasis has no ReWire functionality so it cannot be used together with Live like Cubase SX or VST.

regards,
Alex
