Can't delete cllips

It seems that when some plug ins windows are opened, they steal some keys to Live, like the spacebar and the 'delete' key, like it happened to me today with Augustus loop. It also happened a few days ago, but it wasn't with Augustus loop 'cause I just bought it today. can't remember which plug was opened as I hadn't made the link between plug in UI and keys not working.
