External mixer connecting too Live!

How can i connect a external mixer on live?i want too hear the music over my normal Monitors not my computers!how must i do that.....????
either get a soundcard that has audio outputs and connect those to your mixer, or just run a y-cable from the headphone out to one of your mixers channel inputs.
