Whats up fellow abe-heads.
I've just finished a track done in Live 5 (with Reason 3.0 rewired). I was wondering if some of y'all would be willing to give it a listen and let me know if you hear anything out of whack. I've been trying hard recently to improve my mixing and what little mastering I'm capable of, so I would appreciate any comments you all might have.

i am not fan of the transy things but i played the track on shit speakers in soundforge , it sounded right .
i would have blended some of the bass sounds together into a nice vintage sounding compressor but it's a question of taste .
the track is well balanced .

thanks for the feedback, guys. kalim - i used waves L1 in conjunction with Izotope Ozone while mastering. a little bit of each.
spider - i never thought it had a trance sound but now that you mention it, it kind of does. can you suggest a software based compressor for the bass?

sounds good I think it sounds progressive because of the long break you have going. i would say though that there is some background noise going on from the effects and layered instruments. maybe simplify some portions towards the end and make it groove a little more by pumping the bass drums more often. i would smooth out the bass line and bass sounds like was suggested above. has a clean sound in general though. would sound great on a large system for sure.
