Ableton Forum

i think the device is supposed to be plug n play, i got it second hand. anyone know how i could get osx/ableton to recognize it? i'm sort of at a loss here

How is the device connected? USB or midi? Can you be a little more specific?

Test it in OSX audio midi setup to see if it is sending midi, if it is then there should be no problem.
