Live 5.0.3 Demo doesn't start

Hi folks i have a little problem
i am owner of 4.1.4 and wanted to see how 5 works on my mac.
so i downloaded the demo of 5.0.3, dragged it to the harddrive and it won't start up. it says "can't start from disk image, please drag it to the applications folder" though it is there already...
i own an imac 20" 1.8ghz, 2gig ram, os 10.4.4
