big problem that worrys me to much to make me nervous to use Live.

I have a songs that have crash. Ok computer crash it is life but when i try and load up crashed song ableton live then crash unexpect during load and a message live unexpectdly quit. I move plugins out of folder so no change.

What i do is go to live als file and drag seperate clips from crash song files in to sesion views but when i get to clip called key2 this is when Live crash. I drag key 2 in session and crash everytime. I think this is reason for crash. I meanings this file clip is cause for crash. This clip has only Simpler and simple delay + theh small audio file for simpler. Crash crash.
This is very bad situation. I never have software that crash and corrupt the song to never load again. I spended two days on tracks and this crash Ok i get back most clips but i lost all automations and may other thinks.

Ableton peoples. Please look at your softwares more close. What if my set a live set als????? and happen ten minutes before I play????? Live five I can understand some of bugs BUT THIS =bad bugs to not load my song is very bad and very worried for user. This happen some other times I did not say on the forum and throw away song. So this was good song I work on and not wanting to throw away.
Maybe other people to have this bad bug?
What do I do?


ps i imaginings this crash of key2 is faults of simpler. A setting in simpler I thinking? the sound is short so i loop and add release. I think something with this maybe

sounds like u should send ableton ur set file...
this should not be happening with their own sampler and FX!

maybe the sample loaded in simpler has got corrupted somehow.

This is what I thinking to. I wont send to ableton becasue nothing happen so they dont make dollar from bug so not important. I see some posts with this another time so they must be known of the problem. It is most scary bug i ever have with all my softwares.

had the same problem few days ago.

live 5 crashed on a song. I restarted, relaunched live, when I tried to open the als file some things loaded and then it crashed again, with a message "live 5 unexpectedly quit..."

I've trashed the preference file and tried to open the als file different ways : double clicking the file, or apple+o but it's still the same.

I noticed it happens just after live has loaded my NI Battery 2 kit.
I didn't try yet to remove the battery plugin, but I'll try tonight.



I'd like to know what's wrong? live? my sytem?

have u tried opening the set on another computer with live?

i strongly recommend turning off VST's if u get a repeat crash on load.
this has often worked for me...

if you want ableton to look into it and possibly fix it then u should send
any crash logs with a link to this thread.

where is located the crash log?
