Backing up warped files

I've recently started with Live. Using it to DJ and remix tracks. I have spent the past few weeks warping tracks on my laptop and want to back up my work on disk. I sent the folders containing the warped files to a disc and burnt a copy. I attempted to open the files from the disc in Live demo on my pc to verify the back up copy and found a problem. The tracks are on the disc but the warp markers are gone. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Help, please.

Hi,

There is another file created by Live in the same folder as where the sound file is and that contains the warp info. It has the same name as the sound file but with an .asd extension, i.e. sound.wav.asd is the file for sound.wav
So you should burn the asd file along with the sound file, and it should work.
Hope that helps,
