Ableton Forum

Comes up when trying to send files to trash AND when I select "Read User Manual". It only happens with Live.
I've reinstalled, trashed prefs, run disk repair, sent my log text file to Ableton who say I am the only person who has had this problem, Mac Music forum ditto - nothing.
I need some new ideas - its a right pain having to re title and save as project then dump the song folder in the trash, but that's what I have to do...guess I shouldn't complain but it's driving me crazy!!

i don't know what audio hardware you are using, but i get error -50 now and then when using multiple interfaces to print audio in logic using my pro tools hardware.

the DAE error -50 seems to be the result of the computer no longer being able to accurately locate the audio hardware.

digidesign suggest:
trash prefs
zap pram
re boot

if all else fails re install the system software.

i suggest:
shut down
start up
[not restart]

seems to clear this error for me, and it is infrequent enough that i can manage it.
