Explain what you mean a little more as I am confused. Do you mean the clips or the actual scene including the scene launch on the far right?

You can select all clips in a scene, then go to the clip detail view and then change the color for all of them at once.

I like the colored track idea

The more colour choices the better.

no the idea is to colour the scenes themselves, and also tracks otherwise clps cant get moved about

for eg. in a DJ style set I'm putting together I have 4 group tracks acting like 4 decks - I have 4 faders on my UC-33 setup to receive them A,B,C,D - then I have all the individual tracks with clips on them routed to those tracks

sometimes I'll have 3 or 4 tracks routed to A, same for B etc etc - it would be alot easier if I could assign everything going to A the same colour so you can see at a glance which ones are going to fader A - at the moment I use the crossfade buttons as visual cues but there are only 2 of them so it's only half useful

it could also mean you could colour code your keyboard/PC keyboard to match

I just want to give each track a different color, up at the top where the track name is. Track 1 = blue 2 = green etc.

i knew someone else would want this to, count me in

track colours would be really useful and surely not that hard to implement.
If you dont need em then you dont have to use 'em - everyone wins!

Still in need of this - would be really useful - at least as an option. ideally with different shades as you go down through scenes.

Yes, I agree tracks should be the option to be more colored (also in arrangement view). Coloring clips isn't always enough in big sets.
