Best Part:

"Live 6 will bring support for multicore/multiprocessor architectures, to the benefit of both Windows and Mac OS users"

But NO new features in 5.2? Not even anything subtle?

Well there you go - I can buy a dual chip for the Athlon for a little under $400 and upgrade to 6 in the fall hopefully for not a lot of money

word - curious what's up with 5.2

Gomi - good point, wait till later and swoop

but all the crossgrades and upgrades are going to cost a little bit of money so...you're still going to end up paying something to somebody

nice

it's so tempting to order one now.
but really my little g4 is doing it's job fine at the moment
and having to limit myself and find work arounds for
incorperating heavy synthesis is good training anyways.

i use it live to run off loops and sections in time with
a drummer AND i run my guitar through it for processing
at the same time. i'm pushing it hard, but it hasn't
crashed yet.

at the end of the year i'll upgrade and go crazy with the
effects and synths... till then, less is more
