Rewire problem - LIVE 2.0.3 & Cubase-Mac
I just installed 2.0.3 and discovered that my rewire items in Cubase read like this:
Ableton Live (Reason) Mix L
Ableton Live (Reason) Mix R
Ableton Live (Reason) Bus 03
Ableton Live (Reason) Bus 04….etc
My REASON items were still at the bottom of the list starting after
Ableton Live (Reason) bus 16
I posted a jpg if anyone is interested in how it actually appears:
http://www.wilsonfontainemusic.com/rewire.jpg
The text overlaps the actual button graphics in the cubase Rewire panel too.
So I removed both LIVE and REASON engines from the extensions folder, tossed my Cubase prefs & restarted Cubase. As I expected – nothing in Cubases Rewire panel.
So then I quit Cubase, relaunche LIVE on it’s own which re-established the LIVE engine in the extensions folder. I did NOT put the REASON engine back in yet.
When I launched Cubase & looked at the Rewire panel I saw the same
Ableton Live (Reason) Mix L items in my list.
My rewire extension is 1.4.3 (build70) propellerhead software.
I tried eliminating the rewire extension but when I launched live again I discovered that another rewire extension had been installed somehow.
Thanks in advance for any insight anyone might have.
I guess I will re-install 2.0.1 until I can figure it out.
