It'd be a shame if Live was a complete solution, because that'd leave all that fancy equipment of yours superfluous.
Cheers,
Mikael

I disagree - it's a very nice program if you're into music, digital djing and kicking it

It's a complete solution to me, but maybe my complete problem isn't as bad as yours.

Oh it is i just have all of that stuff just to look good isnt that what music's all about these days
Im just pissed of with ableton already talking about live 6 in that newsletter.
all concentration should be on live 5, its hardly been out yet.
I love live by the way. Complete? meaning its not complete

Maybe you should ask Global Goon about that. I personally find it lacks one thing; the ability to change time signatures.

You should have done what I did: Stay at Live 4. Live 4 is a wonderful program with revolutionary features. It is stable and not too heavy on the CPU.
I haven't seen any reason to upgrade to 5, and so far I haven't seen any reasons to upgrade to 6 either.

I love live 5. Jamming or producing, but I definetly dont think its a complete solution. Theres no way impulse can compete with other drum samplers out there, just the same as operator and simpler cant compete with other fm synths ,and samplers.

heh...ya, 'complete' and they want more money for operator. and more money for bugfix6. (giving them the benefit of the doubt that live6 will indeed address certain issues.)

This is such a silly discussion. How could anything be complete for all of us?
Live is a great part in my music making - but it's not all. Neither is my G2, my Nostromo or my MFC42 - but they add to what I do. They're a part of my (complete) solution! Just like Live...
Cheers,
Mikael
