system: Live 5.03 (happerned in 5.0- 5.02 as well)
Toshiba Tecra M4 laptop as well as a DELL somthing or other desktop.

Situation: I make a set, one track has Ohmboys VST chained after one or more VSTs (VSTs vary). Everything works fine. I save the set. I open it later, and the Ohboys delay does not work -- I can see via the audio meters that signal is moving through the chain, and that the Ohmboys VST is recieving audio signal, but it will not output a signal.

This does not happen all the time. Sometimes it works.

The only way to solve it is to delete that instance of the plugin (after saving the settings), and placing a new instance in its place and loading the settings back in.

Take another look at Ohmboyz when you re-open a Set where the plugin is used. You may find that the endless loop button is depressed (the one with an explosion icon on the funky skin).

If this is the problem, please post back here because we can then report it to Ohmforce as something affecting more than just me!

No, the endless loop button was not depressed, and Live 5 is the only program that exhibits this behavior -- AudioMulch and Plogue behave nicely. I've also used this VST successfully in Live since version 2.

Is this only affecting you when this button is depressed? My problem is intermittent, and seems to occur only after having saved a set. Hard to duplicate intentionally, though I could post a self-contained set once I come across the problem again.

Still happening with Ableton Live 8 and latest version of Ohmboyz...

When this happens I see that there is a hidden control called "Flag" in Ohmboyz. Only way to see it in the automation pane of Ableton Live track is first automate another parameter from Ohmboyz then it appears in the list. When you select it you see there is some weird automation recorded. When you delete this automation you get the audio back from the output of Ohmboyz... Isn't this ridiculous?
