Pluggo problems Live 5.0.3

I cannot get Pluggo automation to play back after it is recorded. This only seems to happen with the new Pluggo 3.5.3
Automation is recorded fine, but when attempting playback, Live as soon as it see the first change in automation sets the "Back to Arrangement" button ON (red) so that automation can no longer occur on the Pluggo VST or AU. (Automation continues with other Live plugins or other brands VST/AU) If one clicks the "Back to Arrangement" button then automation settings are updated until the next change in automation then the button goes red again and ....(etc. loop)
Is this happening to anyone else? I have no problems with earlier versions of Live and Pluggo on a different computer. Although Pluggo seems to be the factor that changed.
This version of Pluggo is tied to an update in Max/MSP.
