Nothing much has changed since january  the start marker lets you do this, and you can split and consolidate in the arrangement window... I thought you were going back to fruity loops?

no its not having a beatslicer it has beat reapeater which is not good and wasting o ftime to put in live 5 when they could have putted in a beat slicer thing. sorry. I like how to working with audio in live but it is all connect to much to warping and granular stretch and can working bad and uses much cpu than rex style slice style. You can do what your liking very good with pro tools beat detective. Its is realy much better than recycle because you can make groove clips from audio or midi and to control the slices is better. I thinking why no other company make a vst style beat detective?
