M-Audio Project Mix I/O and Live

I'm used a lot to use Logic Control (in Mackie Control mode) to mix with Live. And I love it.

But I've just got from the distributor a trial of the M-Audio Project Mix I/O and I gotta say it kicks ass. It has a Live 5 mode so it has more integration with Live. Also used it to seamless record my Minimoog and my Oberheim Matrix 12 into the project. Could assign two different pairs of monitors to that. Mixing is smooth. The only thing is my poor Powerbook G4 1 GHz farting a little with all those power. MacbookPro please!!!!

Really recommend to everyone.

Hi,
I ´ve just got one myself (work in a shop here in BH, MG....) to try out and decided to buy it, after experimenting the Live 5 mode. But I have one complain, though: can I map it to trigger clips and scenes (session view)with it? And how about the crossfader. Could I use the master fader to do it , for example?
PS. pensei que ia ser dovertido escrever em português nesse forum, já que você tá em SP, mas outros podem ter a mesma questão, sei lá...e o som, é legaL? (dos conversores)
thanx

Waddup, Andre.

Fala, meu mano. (in portuguese)

The ProjectMix I/O is intended to behave like the Mackie Control / Logic Control instead of playing clips and the crossfader. For mixing. At least that's what I think.

For things like those I use my Edirol keyboard and/or a TriggerFinger.

Conversors are great.

E aí, beleza?.....
foi o que pensei.
Brigado pelo toque.
Ah! the project mix that you ordered is from Quanta? Do they have the bundled one? (With Live). I saw that M-Audio offers that in their website.
