Why BPM 120?

after I consolidated an audio track which was in warp complex mode
tempo automaticly set to 120 (orginal bpm was 180)
also, audio file tempo set to 120?(very very weird!)

any one?

not sure wot is happening there, but had a similar thing with some rendered files.
i found deleting the .asd file fixed it...

120BPM is approx. twice the normal heart rate.

Huh, for some reason I always thought our avg heart rate was about 70bpm men 75bpm women. Hence the 140 (disco Heaven) tempo

Isn't it because your project tempo was 120 when you consolidated?

Just to stop weird myths from abounding, kennerb is much closer to the average heart rate. 60 is actually pretty low.

120 bpm is half the speed with which my fist will be hammering against your nose for 5 minutes if you keep letting out ridicuous nonsense like that.
