i rewired live into bidule and live crashed then this showed up on my desktop as a note pad doc. i use live in bidule all the time with no problems. live worked fine after i rebooted i was just wondering what this
was

I can't offer an explanation, but I will say that I've never seen a log like that from Bidule. My guess is that it came either from Ableton, or from a VST plugin you were running at the time.

Did the notepad file have a name?

Hi folks,

I don't know what the problems is or was but I can say that the message doesn't come from Live.

There are calls like HOST VENDOR, HOST PRODUCT, getDirectory(),... in the VST sdk so I would assume it's coming from a plug or it's related to a plug.

And so which one?

Also, since VST plugins cant be loaded in live while in ReWire Slave mode
i assume the plugin was loaded in Bidule directly, hence the problem most probably is between the plug and bidule.

If a VST plugin in Bidule uses too much CPU in its GUI thread, there are chance that it gives a hard time to ReWire clients.

I will try to reproduce.
