cueing with 2 sounds cards?

Hello....
Okay, I have a novation x station and run my audio through that, however, as I am sure all you super tech wiz boys and girls are aware there is only one out, so cuing is not possible. Is there a way i can use my on board laptop soundcard for cueing as well as using my x station for playing?
Hope this makes sense.
Cheers

A Mac should already be able to handel that (I think - don't have one).
On a PC, try the Asio4All drivers:

Hi there,
It looks like you've got a decent laptop. Running live, Reason, and then asking the on board card to deliver audio might be asking too much, although I run Live and Reason quite nicely. I do use a multichannel card for cuing.
There should be an ASIO mutimedia driver you could try, like the previous posted reply says. I'm not sure how mine ended up in the menu choices - I think it might have been part of an M-Audio install. I personally don't like mixing cards, because of the latency and possible conflicts.
I'd be interested in knowing how things work out. Best of luck!

dude!
ASIO4ALL is the SHIT!
i jsut got it (its free).
it lets u use multiple ASIO soundcards at the same time.
so im doing exactly what u want. echo indigo is the main out, and my laptop's onboard sound is my cue.
works like a charm - minus my onboard isnt as loud as i'd like.
cheers

Okay....
Downloaded ASIO4ALL. Top notch utility. Has enabled me to activate both my onboard soundcard and my x station soundcard. However.
When I go to the cueing drop down list i get these choice:-
channel1
Channel 2
channel 1/2
Configure
If I set 1 to my cueing and 2 to my master out, I can cue on one speaker and play on the other, both from my novation x station out.
From ASIO4ALL I can deselect my novation and do this on my onboard sound card. But I can't seem to split it between the sound cards and not the speakers.
Does that make sense.
The bottom line:-
I can't select my soundcards seperately inside Ableton. Only ASIO4ALL. How do I get ableton see them both at the same time and seperately.
Cheers guys.

is there also a way to use only the lappy built in soundcard to cue?
i mean having mono left for the audience, and mono right for cueing?
and what is the cheapest asio soundcard you could get for a lappy?
