Default midi control channel 1 controller 10

Just wondered if somehow it would be possible to change this ... every time I want to assign a midicontrol to an attribute in Live , the 1/10 control gets assigned at first automatically , however this is also the controller definition for a totally different controller in my setup .
Couldn't this be set to eg. 0/0 or so ?

I am not sure if I understand completely.
When you click on a parameter in midi map mode, 1/10 shows as the assignment before you do anything?
If so it sounds like you have a stuck control. CC 10 is usually standard for the pan control. Your controller could be transmitting this control because it is stuck... What controller do you use?

Yep, from the moment I click on eg. volume and don't do a thing with my controller ... Live [that's what I thought] sets it to 1/10 ... I'll check on the sw developer's side as well
My controller is .. well ... is released very publicly [as something different] but not released yet as well [I'm betatesting ] ... but very close [in my eyes ] to be the perfect Live controller ... and it's amazing no one ever thought about this earlier ...

I am not sure what you have.... must be an NDA involved...
All I can say is that I have personally seen this problem with many controllers, but mostly with the Oxygen 8. Controllers jumping all over the place....
