Delay/"Double kick" effect when triggering clips?

Hi There
Maybe this topic has already been covered but...
I'm using Live 4.1.4 on a Mac pwrBk 1.5,ext 7200f/w 400 hd. I'm using the up/down/side arrows then return keys to navigate between tracks/clips then trigger individual clips. However there is a slight delay or more like a "double kick" effect when the clip is triggered for the first time...then the clip will loop ok.This happens even when clicking directly on clip play. I've tried adjusting the buffer..no luck The track is not a huge clip count or fx heavy(25-35% cpu) All clips are looped and warped to the main tempo.Could any one advise me ?
Also whenever I go to another function in Live then try to use the arrows and return keys as above I cant scroll or trigger with them again until I click on a clip?? I use a Faderfox LV1 (top right rotary/push knob) to select/trigger scenes wiith only occaisional glitching.
thanks in advance.....
