Bug: Energy XT as VST in Live 5.0.3

It seems there is a GUI bug when using Energy XT within Ableton Live. This basically makes Energy XT useless as a VST for me now....

To reproduce this:

1. Load EnergyXT as a VSTi in Live.
2. Load a VST synth (or midi effect) into Energy XT.
3. Open the VST up and pick a different preset from the dropdown.
3. Close and re-open the Energy XT window a couple times.
4. Open up the VST synth you have inside eXT and click on the drop down to change to another preset.... it doesn't work!
5 And even worse, now the keyboard doesn't work in Live and if you right-click and delete the energy XT VST from Live's track view, Live goes poof and disappears.

I have also posted this at kvr on the Energy XT forum, where they suggest it may be an issue with Ableton since the issue doesn't happen in T2, Cubase, etc.

I'm using a full registered version of Live 5.0.3 and the demo of eXT v1.3.6 and also tried the latest XT beta (17feb06).

Same here, but Live doesn't crash when I try to delete eXT.
However I can't delete eXT. Live just ignores the delete key.
Scary I totally depend on eXT in my livepa set.
I guess I never noticed! in front of people because I just load .ext presets, one for every song and that's stable. So far ....

Live: 5.0.3, eXT 1.3.5.

It seems to be related to dropdown menus in sub-windows of eXT... If you click on any dropdown in a sub-window of eXT it happens consistently after you close and re-open the eXT window...

The only workaround I have found is to never close the energy XT window and then no issues arise, which is annoying because you have to drag it out of the way to see the screen instead of just closing it. It only starts happening once you close and then re-open the eXT window.

I hope they can look at this as eXT and Live are a killer combo when they work!
