Hi,

is there any way to assign the knobs and faders of my USB-Midi-controller-box (evolution uc33e) to CC of external hardware synthesizers?

Sure!

...if your hardware synth actually communicates via midi CC. Set the midi in on your track to the UC-33 and the out to the port which you've hooked the external synth to. If filter cutoff is CC74 (this is in your synth manual) then assign a fader on the UC to that CC. Set your track monitor to on and tweak away!

Thanks. But this solution is to tricky to me, because I want to use the same UC33-preset for all live-sets and programming the UC33 is much more complex than editing live's MIDI map.

I thought it's possible to assign the remote-controller to the MIDI-CC of a hardware synth similar to assigning it to device parameters of a VSTi plug in.

Well - if you make a preset on the UC33 for every hardware synth, you'll only have to do it once. No biggie!

right. but the situation is more complex:

1. i want to record midi-automation.

2. i already have constructed a reaktor ensemble as software editor and step-sequencer for a hardware synth without knobs (MFB polylite). but it doesn't work as plug in inside an audio (or midi) track of live, even the midi-routing is correct: the notes of the reaktor-intern sequencer will be played, but the CC won't be send to the hardware.
becaue of that i'm a little bit dissatified.

just use your reaktor in standalone mode then.

if you route that midi into live it isn't going to let you route it back out. ie, there isn't a midi-thru.
