Metronome does not turn off...

This time I think I actually found a bug, instead of my usual obvious butter fingered blunder...
Last night I was helping my friends record a podcast. I had made the mistake a couple days ago of updating my G5 to 10.4.5, so we were using my Powerbook which has 10.4.2 and Live 5.0.2 on it. I had to download a driver from Digidesign in order to use our 002 with my Powerbook as an interface with Live. The driver is a special CoreAudio 7.0 deal for people that want to use their Digi hardware on an OSX machine that doesn't have Pro Tools loaded on it.
So, I downloaded the driver, plugged in the 002 and it worked. We set up the Live set and got all the clips we wanted to trigger and got levels on the mics + stuff. When we started recording oddly the metronome started firing, even though the metronome button hadn't been pushed and wasn't illuminated. It was really strange. I looked around a bit and turned the metronome on and off, but the problem persisted.
Luckily I read this forum enough to know that all I had to do was turn the headphone knob all the way down in Session view to not hear it anymore. Which is what I did and we hit record and the podcasters were happy and recorded a good show. But I'll be damned, it seemed like a bug to me!
