5.2b3 Disk clipping and CPU spike

Waow.
With this version I'm getting the troubles a lot of people were complaining about. Huge CPU spikes and Disk orange light switching cutting off the audio, for ridiculously simple songs.
I've worked on tracks with 30 tracks of audio before with no troubles and here with just 7 tracks, two of which are stereo, live can't play them !
Something wrong...can't work with that

yes this is the same thing that happened to me

interface seemed somewhat smoother under load but the dropouts were extreme.

it seems like theres a balance going on with this program; you either wieght it toward the interface, or wieght it toward audio, but it cant do both

Hi folks,

do you have a Live set that works in a previous version of Live 5 but not in Live 5.2bx? Does the CPU usage display in Live refelect this difference between Live 5.2bx and a previous final Live 5 version?

well not me, the interface is a lot less smoother too.
