you know that stupid satisfaction song.. (i jsut heard his remix of outkasts ghetto musik , and its a crazy sound) but I was wondering if anyone had fucked operator up enough twith a deep humming nasty sound like that ?

or other reccomendations?

Highpass filters and side-chain compression should make just about any slightly dirty bass sound sound right.

can you explain side chain compression?

side chain compression would let the bass follow the inverse volume of the kick in a very organic way.

live does not have this.

i find that operator is best used as multiple instances. here's a zip file with an example... the resamples clip is recreatable using all of the elements contained in the project.
