i know some of this has been covered here before yet need help to understand please..
I have live 2.03 on a pc laptop and is totally slammin''
just perfect
now need to have live slave to a music workstation in 2 ways..
1.
Sending signal from a macg4 using either logic or digital performer
live as slave on the pc
need to be able to have transports lock for play sequences
need tempo from live to also slave with clock of actual time
(no rewire here as need to use 2 computers)

2.
Need some of your thoughts on how to also make live slave to a drum machine type groove box like yamaha 700 or rolamd 909

would love to hear from our experts out there..
will be happy to share what I learn in the process once I get this figured out

Although I haven't done it myself, I beleive at least one reliable way of getting that done would a device that provides an external clock. Something like the MOTU Timepiece.
