Recording sends

Post by wacko » Wed May 14, 2003 12:56 pm

I'd love to be able to record sends or just simply the output from one track to another.

I'm using a little plugin called coldcutter which automatically chops up and shuffles a beat on the fly. If I could just record the output to another track, that would be great.

I would very much like to be able to hear output from sends alone, even with the original ("sending") track muted. I guess this would mean a major re-design of the buses, which have already been carefully thought out.

Send recording

YES! This seems really crucial for me... I like to play old monosynths and harmonize different lines together during performance.... if I could record the sends than I could combine the different samples together for easier triggering.

Set the output of the track you route to the sends to SENDS ONLY instead of MASTER OUT , set the other tracks to s'thing else than master out eg output 3/4 [assuming 1/2=your master out] and set the sends ouput to MASTER OUT , arm a new track with the same input [master in] as the sends-out ... [will need asio though] ... should do the trick
