Im using a Terratec 7.1 Soundcard

What way do i wire this to an external mixer? Im using this mixer

Can this be done? I want to be able to monitor the 3 audio tracks on ableton. I have bought 3 phono to phono cables to plug into the soundcard from the mixer

I have an x-session also to control the tracks. But would like to use the mixer as im more familiar with it.


Wat do i need to set the master and monitor too?

What external mixer do you have?

Does it come with a manual?

You must read that manual (or download it if possible and then read it).

Supposing you know what you are doing: the three outputs from the soundcard should go to your mixer line inputs. Do not leave microphones plugged into the same external mixer channels at the same time. Again read the manual.

You will probably use 6 inputs on your mixer just to accomodate the three soundcard outputs.
