I've reported this to ableton before and we still don't seem to have solution.

Each time I run at 192/24 Ableton's GUi seems to freeze with the new track and then the whole application stops mixeing the tracks.

I've even changed ny hardware thinking it was Apoggee's fault.

Now it must be a bug in ableton

P.S.

Ableton 4.1.4 plays just fine at 192/24

Hi James Cater,

do you have an audio clip running in the "complex" warp mode?
There is a problem with the "complex" warp mode when running at 192 khz.

Yes this is the problem.

I can finally use Ableton at 192 !!!

I assume you can fix this.

Hello James,

Ok, so we know what the problem is.
I assume you can fix this.
We'll try but it is quite complicated also because the 'complex' warp is an external licensed technology. So I cannot promise it.

This is ok for me, I manually check all my warped tracks anyway, so using beat mode is fine.

Once the tracks have been warped, why do you need to call out to the external software anyway. ie at playback tme all the warp markers are in place and you should no longer depend on the external software,

that's not how it works, James. Warping is in realtime.

Hello James,

this 192kHz 'Complex' crash should be fixed within the latest beta: Live 5.2b6
