Hey forge, I like this. Especially think it's kind of music I really enjoy to come home to after a night out or to hear at an afternoon party, great laid back progressive sounds. Nice one, thanks for sharing.

I haven't gotten thru all your stuff yet, but so far my favorite is real low (dub).

I really like it when people approach percussive stuff with long phrases the same way one might treat a lead melodic voice. It's cool and it's not done enough. That said, i think just having the percussion phrases alone for the first 30 seconds doesn't work as well as it could. The next two minutes are great, though. Everything is coming together there with the focus on the interaction between the "plucky" synth and the percussion stuff. I like the last 30 seconds or so a lot too, but i think you might be able to really push the tension before the beat comes back in at the end. I'm not sure how, but it feels like just one more stroke would push it over the edge. Also maybe a discrete end instead of a fade out? That's not really a big deal to me though, i don't mind the fade out either, just maybe try an abrupt end as an experiment if you haven't already.



Anyway, nice stuff, i like it.

thanks lm - thanks for the feedback - they arent fade outs, they're just so I didnt have to put the full versions on

yeah that one was actually me playing Battery on a keyboard hence the long phrases - of course I quantised etc later

just listened back - shit that encoding sounds rotten I'll have to upload it again....
