rendered file not the same mix as in session.

on of the tracks in my rendered file is much much lower in the mix than when its played in the session. The is a delay effect on that track which i don't believe has any thing to do with this problem, but as I said it is upfront in the mix in the session in Live. ANybody know why this is happening?

I also noticed that it is off, almost as if the wet mix is turned up much higher than it actually is on the delay effect.

rendering is of the arrangement, not session, yeah?

yeah. sorry for to make that clear.. bottom line is what I'm hearing is not what is being rendered.

do you normalise on when you render ?

Also, I think when rendering, it uses your soundcard. So if you are using built-in audio. You may lose some quality.

yeah. normalize is on.
the audio quality isn't an issue. its the actual track in the mix

Er, no it doesn't.
Try to render something with the audio engine off.

turn off normalization and see if that changes anything

i was perusing another thread with a similiar problem, and i've got same problem,
also have noticed playback with directx driver sounds different (muffled) than asio driver, and render has similiar sound to directx playback..
this is the other thread (if i got how to url right that is)

just discovered it wasnt rendering,, just th playback - don't know why but directx and asio playback are sounding different using me laptop with onboard conexant audio, but they are the same using m-audio mobile pre...
