sound effects

Anyone know where I can get a variety of sound effects free or low cost..wind,thunder car horns animal sounds and the like before I get out my midi disc and mic and start roaming the neighborhood
Looking to mix in some effedcts with tracks

For low-cost sound effects cd's, perhaps you can check them out from your city library. our library has dozens of cd's with all kinds of sound effects. If you have access to a library, that's my recommendation. you can also find a lot of strange music that you can take home for no cost and sample like crazy.
