Whaddup everyone. I recently purchased live 5.0. Right now I have a p.c. (and i'm running XP). Next week, I plan on purchasing a mac G4 powerbook that will be solely used for recording. Does anyone have any suggestions on which particular interface (low latency, firewire) would be best or ideal for home/portable session recording? Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks..
p.s.
I'm running Live on my PC to get a feel for the program and i do not plan on using my PC when i get my MAC

I bought the Ozonic for my Powerbook. It's not perfect, but it was as close a thing I could find for my needs. I wanted it to be bus powered, it is. I wanted it to be a keyboard/control surface, it is. I needed 4 analog audio outs, it's got 'em. It's got 4 inputs as well. It's the only thing of it's kind.
I had a Live user come in yesterday and we searched for a controller/interface for his laptop and we couldn't find anything. He wanted something like the Ozonic but smaller.
Goes to show you how manufacturing of the crap we love is behind the curve of our needs. It's like, come on manufacturers! Keyboard interfaces with 4 audio outs! We need more choices!
What I really need is a case for my Ozonic. I'm convinced I'm going to knock off a knob or two everytime I travel with it. I also live in fear of accidentally bumping the power button on the back. Apparently this has fried out the firewire port of a few unlucky individuals.
But hey, it's got 4 outs!
