I ve been testing out the Rewire with Digital Performer 4.61 and live 5 beta 6 and have found a few problems.

1. When recording audio into DP i get a nasty sound right at the start of the recording.

2. once the audio is recorded i get a pop at the end of the loop.

3. In live when everything is playing i noticed an orange dot inside the clip i recorded from, also the
timeline inside the clip was jerking about aswell.(this wasnt effecting the sound by the way just GUI)

If anyone else is using DP with live please if you have any problems could you send it to [email protected],then we might get this sorted.

Same problems with Cubase as Rewire Master
Checked with latest beta...still got the (F**king) Orange Dot appearing and causing gliches in the audio ie breaks up and crackles,pops. This happens randomly and I can usually reset it by stopping sequencers, reseting them both, going back to arrangement and then restarting the clip.
Also another PITA bread is the one bar gap on first playback of any live clip...
If I press play on the clip I would like to rewire, it doesnt start playback until one bar has gone by (Just sits there like a lemon). This happens only once. Once the sequencer has played 1 bar and the live clip has started playing back, if I stop the sequencer and start it again, the clip begins straight away as it should do all the time. But if I try to fire a new clip that has not been playing, you get the same 1 bar delay and this same behaviour.
I have reported all this to beta
