Im sorry, but i've looekd everywhere for an answer to this, but i cant find anything.

Im using Ableton for a sound design in a theatre. I want to be able to launch a single clip in column 1, scene 1. then at a certain point in time (while the clip in col 1 scene 1 is playing) i want to launch three different clips in column 2, 3 and 4, in scene 2 (so they're in sync with eachother). When i launch scene 2, i still want the clip that was in column 1 (scene 1) to finish its duration (while scene 2 starts and plays). Is there any way to do this without having to send ableton multiple midi notes or ascii keys at the same time? thanks.

- highlight the slot in Scene 2 / Column 1 (second row down from your clip you want to keep playing

- CTRL-E to remove the stop button

Your clip will keep playing when you fire Scene 2

Instead of columns, refer to them as tracks.

I think what you want is the 'Remove Stop Button'. Right click on a clip, select remove stop button. Ctrl-E is the keyboard shortcut to add/remove the stop button.

So...
Remove the stop button below the clip in track 1 scene 1.
When you launch scene 2, the clip in track 1 scene 1 will not stop, you removed the stop button, very handy.

Also look into FOLLOW MODE, it's a short section in the manual, very much worth checking out.
