Hello,
MCmu needs beta-testers with Live 5.
MCmu is a software Mackie Control emulator for Windows.
- Map easely any MIDI controller(s) to the MC features *you want*
- Display a virtual MC LCD on your PC screen
- Send status feedback to your control surface: LEDs, Motorfaders,
LCD of supported devices (more to be added)
- Enable native controller "Hacks" for supported devices (Yamaha 01x
"General", more to be added)
- Edit command labels to fit your environment (virtual overlay).
You will probably find it useful even if your control surface has
a Mackie/Cubase mode already.
Note: this is *not a trial version* (that will be announced soon),
please only apply if you intend to send valuable feedback to us.
The most helpful beta-testers will win a free license.

Sounds really good, just downloaded the public beta, haven't tried it yet.....is it different than the one you want people to 'apply' for?

mine worked for me after I figured out how to get that midi yoke working as far as live is concerned but there are quite a few controls on my Novation ReMOTE25 that would not be accepted.......Notify this forum when your Email thing is taken care of and I will send so screen shots of the problem so I can win the grand prize of the free 1.0.

i have post in the wisemix forum a zip file with a mcmu file to emulate the Mackie Contro Unit in Live5 with a BCF2000 + a pdf layout.
All the features of the MCU as describe in the Live5 manual are implented except the smtpe/measure switch and the name/value switch.
Limitation: the leds from the v-pots do not follow the value, Francois mail me there will be a specific hack for the bcf2000.
Questions and comments welcome.
