Real SideChain Compressor

Live has among the best routing implementations out there. I can use a variety of compressors to do true side-chaining. But wouldn't it be nice for Compressor II to have this function as well?

Yeah, this has been a popular request for quite a while.
External key input for live's comp and gate please!!!
(and how about sidechain eq or filters for the gate while we're at it?)

Yep - this is pretty much the only thing I find is missing in Live 5.

Yes, absolutely!
But I would like to see an option in the I/O section per track, where you could choose audio from (additional for sidechaining only) in a menu, so you wouldn´t need to create always a separate track or a send if you want to sidechain different tracks using the same source.
Thats what I´m really missing.
Greetings

yes the routing options in live are very usable, having this would add more productive options.
maybe the same idea for the Resonaters with a carrier input ...
