Put your effects in "A Return" (or whichever return track you have free).

On each Audio track, you have the "Audio To:" option. Set this to "Sends Only". Then turn up the Send controllers on each Audio Track to send audio to the Return Track you put your effects in.

Now all audio will be processed by the same return track. It helps if you wants to reduce CPU usage... but a lot of different sound in the same effects can begin to sound ugly...

Or create an audio track, route audio from the two tracks you want to group and then set the Monitoring for the audio track to "In" (not the default "Auto")

i do this alot but what is slightly irritating is that when im playing around with an outboard synth into Live the 'In' picks up that signal rather than just the audio channel with record enabled on, just a lil grumble but would be nice to get around this any ideas.... soz for jacking the thread btw

Just set the input of the group track to "No Input"?
