Hiya,

Just wondering if this has only happened here.

About once or twice a month I get this weird freeze with Live 5.02, only when I am editing midi clips (impulse, operator, simpler and clips feeding external instruments). It does not not get registered in the crash log . Basically I'm in Session view, editing either the position of notes or the velocityt and suddenly I can still move the mouse, the sequence is still playing but I can't do ANYTHIng else. Cannot stop Live, cannot quit it, cannot select anything on the screen. The only way out is a swithing off the computer (Imac G5 2ghz). After a restart live acknowledges that it has quit and asks me to get back from the last undo. The .als is fine then, no corruption. As I said, in the crash log I don't see anything.

Anyone heard of this before?

have you tried to recreate in 5.0.3 ?

I uninstalled 5.0.3 because of that "start in the middle" problem, haven't really tested it on that version. Holding out for 5.2, I was checking if in 5.0.3 or in 5.2 beta this kept on happening or if indeed it happened to anyone else...it's a fairly random crash, other than this I really have not seen anything unusual on my system.
