hey mr. mcboob, its gordon. I think you should change your name if you feel you have outgrown it. I could understand the awkwardness of that situation. Just be you, the name is arbitrary, but in this business it might have more importance to represent yourself accordingly to your art. Then again, i remembered your username when we spoke once... kinda hard to forget.

peace

Well, if you're getting a new Job, and are no longer a salesdude, you should probably shorten it to just "dude Mcboob".

Everytime I log into Ableton I feel a little embarrased for you because of your handle

Syke

You should come up with something super pimping like

"Balling ass playa!"

"I got game, you?"

"You can't fade this bitch!"

Some nuggets to ponder

enjoy your day

No one has mentioned:

Peter North
Nick East
TT Boy
Randy West

Classic names - from an era not to be forgotten - oh how I miss the 90's

Once again another trite and banal thread. I doubt very much anyone here gives a shit what you call yourself.
Is this thread just to see if anyone out there cares or values you as a person?

I might create a poll to see if anyone gives a damn about you.

yeah, it's good to have the sausage packer back. No need for a poll, we all know that we like SalesDude's posts.

I give a shit, I like the name, I think it conveys what you want, you're a sales dude. It's catchy.

Check my name, I just picked one I've used on videogames, I never intended to post here more than once . My name has WAY more attitude than I want to throw around and conveys NOTHING about me, I'm not even Asian. A name's just a name, unless you make it lame like sausage sucker does with the greatest of ease, he just pops up, declares he's an asshole and crawls back into hiding.

Hey - this is a fun thread, I'm enjoying it

We could go on and on about using rex files, timestretching vocals and debugging code but what fun is that

Also, ever think about this - the more pointless the threads the more stable the program

If nothings wrong or you're in that weird stage of your career where it's all working right what's the point of starting useless threads about bouncing individual tracks down for Mixing in Pro-Tools

or what your favorite synth is, when you only have 2 you actually use

just relax, enjoy being alive and write some phat beats - you guys are my only friends, sad but true so I need this more than you think
