Reason cant read wav files anymore since Live 5 installation

After the installation of live and using drumsamples (wav) in impulse i cant open some of them anymore in reason 3.0 (redrum). Some work some dont. They all work in live. The problem exists even if live is not open at all. Is it because live adds some new files? I use windows xp. Everything else works fine (so far). Can anyone help?
OK I fixed the problem myself. I opened the files with Wavelab, erased the first ms (with no sound) and saved the changed file. I don't know why this happened, but it doesn't seem that it was Lives fault. Maybe the files where somehow corrupt. I only wonder why Winamp, Wavelab and Live could read them.
