render to disk live?

is it possible to stream an entire improvised session to disk? ie. start recording and then drop files in and manipulate them while recording?

so far i have only been able to stream a session that i record into an arrange first.

Not exactly, but you can do it using a vst plugin like Silverpike Tape-It
