(taken from general and reposted for your enjoyment)
well, i think i have found a solution, excluding the 5.2 release. this seems to have done the problem. it requires that you have the beta installed, but it should continue to work after the beta expires.
first i would make a backup of the old audioripper.ax file in your C:\Program Files\Ableton\live 5.03\program directory
by naming the file audioripper.ax.old.
then you can copy the beta audioripper.ax file from your C:\Program Files\Ableton\live 5.2b8\program into your C:\Program Files\Ableton\live 5.03\program directory
next, go into the decoding cache at C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Ableton\Live Recordings\decoding cache and delete everything. you can back it up if you want, but its going to be regenerated anyhow.
now open up live with your mp3 set and it SHOULD be good to go from now on. i havent noticed the markers moving, but i will keep yall updated.
i guess ill post this in bugs and whatnot as well...
