I have a powerbook g3 400 1gb memory, 34g harddrive(travelstar, the faster one)running os 9.0.4... i tested out the oxygen 8 with the new drivers installed.. the new oms installed... everything works fine with the oxygen 8(after testing it out for about half an hour on its testing program)..
i run abelton live.. set one sample.. midi it... play with it for about 2 minutes and it lockes up my computer.. i just installed the new version yesterday...1.1 i believe...
i also tried to reinstall the original version off of the disk.. and it sill locks up... i didnt have any problems a couple of days ago, before i went to version 1.1...
first thing i found that was odd was it stated that my virtual memory was on when i first started it(which i confirmed that it wasn't cause i have 1gb and i wont allow it)... second.. it my os stated the finder program had unexpectly quit.
i am going to try to update my os to 9.1/9.2 first before i try anything else.. just wondering if anyone else had experienced the same problem... altho i do plan on upgrading to os x next week...
