hi all I have lurked here on and off for a while and contemplated the purchase of live. I finally gave in and am convinced I have made the perfect decision (after becoming hooked to the demo).

Anyhoo, just introducing myself and I may have some questions in the next few weeks.

thanks, I am really looking forward to becoming one with the Ableton family. I think live is an extremely refreshing and unique way to record.

Here is some advice: Search for covert operators and/or tutorials. Look for the hoffman2k compilation of sick ass tricks. Most of them are done by him, machinate and Adamjay.

Most stuff gets covered here several times. Chances are that beginner questions have been answered several times. While there is a chance that you will get a fast answer to a question if you post it before searching for if it was previously covered, it may evoke a "rtfm" which spreads negativity like a poorly dressed narc at an afterparty.
