PDC on the returns, odd problem - doesn't seem to work?

Hi,
Has enyone noticed PDC not working on return channels?
I'm not sure if it's specific to the particular set-up I've got going on this week.
IE : I've been using SIR, which is a nice free convolution reverb. But, It introduces some monster latency so I need PDC to keep everything right.
BUT, PDC doesnt seem to work on the returns, I can hear a delay on the 'dry' setting of at least .25 of a second (typical for SIR) but PDC should eliminate that.
If I drag the plugin out of the return and into the instrument chanel the PDC is calculated correctly and the instrument and reverb BOTH come out .25 seconds later and in sync. Which indicates that the plug-in IS declaring its latency, but not in a return channel ?
I can't think of another plug that has as much latency as this to test against!
Live 5.2 , winXP
